The Christchurch City Council was publicly thanked by a student group at two Council meetings for their financial and logistics support. Additionally, this gave a keen group of students some insight into the mechanics of local government. The students received a standing ovation. The students’ work contributed to the awarding of a Canterbury Aoraki Conservation Board Award in recognition.
