4th U19 Long Jump – 5.23m 5th U19 Triple Jump – 10.55m South Island Secondary Schools Athletics Championships Invercargill, 31 March–2 April Athletes encountered a mixed bag of weather, with perfect conditions on Saturday afternoon setting the scene for records. Most College boys gained a placing or achieved a personal best. Among the highlights were the 4x400m relays, with College – for the first time in memory – lining up in both the U16 and U19 events. It was excellent to see all the team members working together. Thank you to those who travelled with the team and the parents who supported the boys during the weekend.
