competitions, while our top players distinguished themselves with notable individual successes across multiple prestigious events. Lucas Evans, captain of the Senior A team, won both the singles and doubles titles at the Rod Laver Lead-in 16 and Under Tier 1 Championships at the Brisbane Tennis Centre in Queensland, and Jack Hansen- Ratter, ranked No.1 in his age group, won the 2023 Junior Tier 1 Masters. Christ’s College had a successful outing at the annual Canterbury Secondary Schools Tennis Championships from 13–14 February
at the Trustpower Tennis Centre at Wilding Park in Christchurch. Dominating the competition, Christ’s College secured all five top positions in the senior open competition, with Liam Barrett clinching the singles title by defeating Lucas Evans in the final. Furthermore, the dynamic duo of Liam and Lucas teamed up to secure the doubles title, beating the College pair of Franklin Barry and Lucca Wiseman in the final. In the Year 11 category, Jack Hansen- Ratter clinched both the singles title and the doubles title, partnering with Tasman Daly.
