Predominantly comprised of younger players, and some junior school players, these teams are developing. A periodised programme is in place for water polo at College. The senior squad, led by William Wakeman, has displayed a great deal of grit and a growth mindset throughout the season. This will be a promising team for the 2024 and 2025 seasons. In the junior league later in 2023, the boys have won two from three games, setting a good tone for the rest of the season. The team is committed to a thorough training schedule, and displaying weekly
improvements – both individually and as a cohesive unit. The College water polo programme is striving to grow the sport through a newly designed training schedule, and with competition tours in the pipeline. Our gratitude to our coaches, Lionel Randall, Sam Ratima, and current student coaches for volunteering their time and expertise, not to mention the newly established external support.
