of these affected by Covid-19 or the weather. It would have been a really great event at Ngaˉ Puna Wai. Thank you to Joseph Nash, Ben Campbell, and Charlie Poulter (to name just a few) who put in a lot of time getting boys sorted into relays and events. I really appreciated the help. In the new-format backyard cricket competition, our junior boys were up against Rolleston House. They were soundly beaten but put in an excellent effort. The senior team was also unsuccessful in its first outing but thoroughly enjoyed the new format. Throughout the year, the positive impact of Corfe on College life persisted. The annual House Music competition was another success. Corfe House was well prepared and did an excellent rendition of Marry You by Bruno Mars, and Cole Moffatt and Kourosh Langley’s remake of Every Breath You Take by Sting was impressive. It was great to place in the top three overall, keeping up Corfe’s consistently high performances in House Music in recent years.

Corfe House continues a strong relationship with the SPCA, completing three working bees at the Wigram site this year. The SPCA needs $45 million per year to operate and without the volunteers, it would be impossible to offer the service it does. I am proud that Corfe House has formed a strong bond with the SPCA and can help, even if it is only a few Sunday mornings each year. In House Plays, the production of Jamie’s First Day proved to be a huge success. I would like to give a huge shout out to Joel Fulford for his performance and direction, and efforts in the weeks leading up to the performance. I was always slightly nervous but Joel and Nick Brown reassured me along the way and they certainly delivered. The whole team did fantastically well and I was so proud of what they managed to do in such a short time. I loved that our entire cast could be heard, looked like they were enjoying themselves, and gave it everything. Tate Aikawa's scene when he pleaded to go to the toilet was the funniest thing I had seen in ages.

Joel Fulford Nick Brown Andrew Levenger completed his fourth year as my deputy and I wish to thank him for all the support of both me and the boys. He continues to have a positive impact across all the boys in the House. His organisation of mentor time and the SPCA visits is much appreciated. The contributions of Tony O’Connor, Hannah Clarkson, Shannon Small, and Amanda Lester to Corfe life are also acknowledged. The annual House Dinner and prize- giving was a wonderful celebration of the year and a truly memorable
