10. MAS T CL IMBER BENEF I TS Mast climbing work platforms may offer significant gains in productivity and convenience compared with other types of scaffolding. In addition to being quicker to erect and dismantle, they can be adjusted to position workers at the optimum location for performing work quickly and precisely. Mast climbing work platforms are an alternative and complementary method for work completion with steel tubular scaffolding. Mast Climbing Work Platform is the perfect solution for work on facades, window installation, bricklaying, shipyard work, plastering, painting, chimney work, balcony work & special projects. With mast-climbers there are no need for other hoisting devices together with scaffolding (i.e. no need for cranes, telescopic loaders, personnel or material hoists = total economy is better for the project). The building projects normally always need a combination of different equipment, i.e. mast climbing work platforms can be offered depending on what method is the most suitable and costs effective for the whole project or a part of the project = better total service for the contractor. The height at which mast climbers are used varies according to their specific application and type of system. The equipment can be customized to suit specific building profiles and project needs, and requires a smaller footprint than other forms of scaffolding. Mast climbers also have a very large load capacity, allowing vertical transfer of large loads and workers together on a single platform.
