Lighting of the Advent Candle LITANY FOR THE THIRD SUNDAY OF ADVENT JOY Leader: We gather, still waiting, but now joy rises among us. People: Lord, even when things are hard, Your joy finds us. Leader: When worries grow heavy, let joy break through and strengthen us. People: Lift every burden, O God. Help gladness grow in our hearts. Leader: You have brought joy out of sorrow before. Do it again in us. People: Help us celebrate Your goodness today. Help us share true joy wherever we go. Leader: Jesus, You are our joy. People: Make us joyful—shining with Your joy for all to see. Amen.
