Hiring Updates
The new hire entrance exam was given on August 26 th . We had 62 applicants show up for the written exam. Of the 62 who took the written exam, 57 passed and moved on to the physical agility portion of the hiring process. Thirteen applicants failed the physical agility test, leaving an active hiring list of 44 applicants. Backgrounds are being conducted, and the first round of panel interviews are scheduled for October 6 th . Two current openings in the department will be filled from this new hire list. The list will remain active and good for a full year if any more vacancies happen.
