• There is also a copier in the Lower Level. Students who need copies may ask the Library Team or Director for assistance. Copies are 5¢ each.
Both Levels
• Food, including candy, is not allowed on either level of the Library and Study Center. Covered drinks are permitted. Gum and cough drops are permitted if disposed of properly. • Books can be fragile. Treat them gently so they do not get damaged. Future students will thank you for your kindness. • The Library and Study Center serves you by giving you opportunities to thrive. Respect this space by returning furnishings to their place, keeping chairs on all fours, and throwing your trash away before you leave. • Student workers on duty are to be respected and obeyed. Part of the Library Team’s role is to enforce Library and Study Center rules. Students with repeated violations will lose Library privileges. When in doubt about Library and Study Center rules, ask the Team member on duty. • To reserve one of the three study rooms, create a meeting in Teams or Outlook and select a Location from the dropdown list of Word of Life locations: – CR-NY-BI – Library Upper Study Room – CR-NY-BI – Library Lower Front Study – CR-NY-Bi – Library Lower Back Study This sends an email to the Library Director, who will confirm or decline the reservation based on availability.

Print Resources
General Circulation Books – Location

All General Circulation books are shelved in the center of the stacks room on the Lower Level. These books are checked out at the Circulation Desk in that room. No book may be taken out of the Library and Study Center before being checked out at this desk. Whenever a student removes a book from the stacks for any reason, it should be returned to the Circulation Desk for the Library Team to reshelve. Students should not return any books to the shelves. – Online Search Reference books are searchable in either Destiny Library Manager or using the EBSCO Discovery Service. See the Online Resources section for details. – Borrowing Student identification cards must be used to check books out from the Library and Study Center. Students may check books out for one week. Five books per student may be checked out at a time. Books must be returned by the due date.
