– Access When students can access Destiny through the dedicated link on the Student Portal, they can choose their campus location and begin their search for information. – Destiny Accounts It is recommended that students populate their own username and password using the Destiny “Create Account” prompt so they can view items checked out, place holds, see if their books are overdue, or see what late service charge amount they may owe. The Library Team and Director are always available to answer questions about Destiny accounts.
EBSCO eBooks – Function

The Word of Life Bible Institute Library buys its electronic books from the EBSCO Company. The number of eBooks available increases yearly, and professors’ bibliographies and other curriculum-supporting books are given priority. – Location EBooks can be found three ways: • In EDS, eBooks are searchable by entering the title in the EDS search bar or by scrolling to the EBSCO eBook database in the list of databases included with the EDS subscription. • Destiny Library Manager has a dropdown Material Type menu where eBooks can be selected in combination with entering other search terms in its search bar. • The Library Resources tab in the Student Portal contains a dedicated link to the Word of Life Bible Institute EBSCO eBook management site. – Video Tutorial An eBook video tutorial is available under the Library Resources tab in the Student Portal. This tutorial explains in detail all the ways to find eBooks. – Access EBooks are accessed and read online using Word of Life Bible Institute’s institutional subscription credentials: • Username: wolbi1970 • Password: updated each year and given at Orientation • Students may contact the Library Team or Director to be reminded of the password – Downloads Whether an eBook is available for download or not depends on the agreement between each book’s publishing company and the EBSCO company and is not related to the Bible’s Institute’s purchase of the eBook. • Requirements for download: – Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12 or newer installed on the destination laptop or mobile device. – After accessing the EBSCO eBooks platform using the WOLBI institutional credentials, students must create their own myEBSCO account to access the download capability. Downloading an eBook is equivalent to checking it out and is subject to availability. Not every eBook has the same number of copies available. The Library Team or Director are available to help with any questions.
Galaxie Journal Database – Function

Galaxie Software Electronic Publishing database contains 40 scholarly journals with full-text access for student research and reference. It was created by a Dallas Theological Seminary graduate who saw a need for high- quality Christian resources. Our hope is that online access to these journals provides opportunity for substantial depth of student research and an increase in understanding and assignment quality. – Location There are two ways to locate Galaxie:
