In an effort to maximize the financial assistance available to MAA Associates who have been affected by natural disasters, and to offer an opportunity to assist others in the future, MAA partnered with the Emergency Assistance Foundation; a U.S. based charitable organization, to establish the MAA Associate Disaster Relief Fund. This Fund allows associates to help each other by making tax-deductible contributions as well as provide an opportunity for our company to support and participate in relief efforts in a meaningful way. On behalf of our associates, MAA will match all individual contributions made by associates at 125%. While participation is absolutely voluntary, we are pleased to be able to provide a quick and convenient way for associates to bring much-needed relief to fellow associates and their families. MAA will pay all administrative expenses associated with the Fund, so be assured that the full amount of your contribution, along with MAA’s matching contributions, will go towards helping associates who have been adversely impacted by natural disasters. Our associates demonstrate overwhelming generosity and good will in times of crisis, and the MAA Associate Disaster Relief Fund provides another opportunity to make a real difference. If you would like to make a donation, you can enroll to contribute through bi-weekly payroll deductions in Workday during Open Enrollment or at any time during the year, or you can visit the Emergency Assistance Foundation MAA site to make a one-time donation at any time using the below link.
