HOW TO USE THIS GUIDE This is your guide to date-specific GSKSMO Outdoor and Community Partner activities/events. Plan based on your schedule. Plan your activities using the Monthly Planner. Every program is listed by the date of the program. See what programs are available based on your availability and grade level. Browse by focus area. Welcome to our NEW Girl Experience Program Guide! Girl Scouts of NE Kansas & NW Missouri offer unique experiences to girls designed to grow their leadership skills and take on new adventures while having fun, making friends, and creating lasting memories. This guide contains activities in focus areas perfect for badge earning and fun. Use this guide to explore the programs available to Girl Scouts this Fall (August 2023-January 2024) and start planning your experiences together. Activities and events may have limited space available. Registration is based on a first-come, first- serve basis. We encourage you to act fast to ensure your spot(s).

• Girls must be registered members who meet the Girl Scout grade-level requirement for the event. Any girl in grades K-12, who is not currently a registered Girl Scout, may register as a member to attend events and activities. We recommend a tunic, sash, vest, and/or Girl Scout t-shirt for activities/events when appropriate. • Troop Leaders or other currently registered and background-checked adults must attend activities/events with troops. Unless otherwise noted, they are responsible for ensuring the girls' safety and maintaining the ratio. Please refer to Safety Activity Checkpoints for these safety details.

• For tagalongs, certain events allow non-Girl Scouts to join in the fun! If an event allows tagalongs, supplemental insurance must be purchased for these non-Girl Scout members.
Community Partner-Sponsored Experiences Most of the activities and events in this guide are hosted by our amazing community partners, who focus experiences on Girl Scout core programming. Troop leaders or other approved adults are required to attend events with their Girl Scouts and are responsible for ensuring the safety of the girls. Community partner facilitators are never counted in the ratio for the girls. Some community partnerships manage their own registration, and in these situations, the contact information is on the event listing.
Cancellation Policy Experiences may be canceled due to the required minimum number of participants not being met or in other cases like severe weather. If the experience is canceled or moved to a new date, only those registered will be notified. Please review the cancellation policy listed for each program for more information.

Cookie Program Did you know that the Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world? Not only is the cookie program fun, but it also helps Girl Scouts learn life and leadership skills. All proceeds stay local with our troops and council and are critical to funding financial assistance, girl programming, community service, camp maintenance, training and so much more. Girl Scouts can participate in this program through online, in-person and community booth sales. Save the date! Our Cookie Program kicks off on December 18, 2023.
