Negotiations with First Impression, a part of the Hirt & Carter Group, started in September 2018 when they reached out to CSM in need of assistance with mov- ing and re-installing both Nilpeter and other auxiliary equipment. Furthermore, these talks also included — and resulted in — the acquisition of a new 17-inch FA- Line press, and planned equipment upgrades of First Impression’s existing Nilpeter presses. Planned upcoming upgrades of First Impression’s existing Nilpeter presses includes turning its 8-color FA-Line press, installed in June 2018, into a 10-color mirror image of the new 17-inch FA-Line press. Still to be completed are software and unit upgrades of First Impression’s older Nilpeter equipment. The conference will feature experts in the field of electronic and conductive inks, as well as allied fields such as equipment, researchers and end users. The talks will center on the different technologies, including silver and copper to carbon nanotubes and more; how equipment manufacturers are deploying these inks; and what the end-use customer is seeking.
