Each year, LBW and the LBWCC Foundation offer financial assistance in the form of scholarships. Visit www.lbwcc.edu/scholarship for detailed information and application deadlines.

Financial Aid

Use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to apply for financial aid for college.

Traditional Student Scholarships

More than $5 million is awarded to LBW students annually through the following programs: โ€ข Alabama Student Assistance Program โ€ข Alabama G.I. Dependentsโ€™ Scholarship Program โ€ข Federal Pell Grants โ€ข Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants โ€ข Federal Work-Study โ€ข Veteranโ€™s Benefits

Scholarships are awarded for one year and must be used beginning in the fall semester of the year awarded. โ€ข โ€ข Academic Scholarships โ€ข โ€ข Athletic Scholarships โ€ข โ€ข LBWCC Foundation Scholarships โ€ข Deadline: March 1

Non-Traditional Student Scholarships

Available to students who are 21 years of age or older, have been out of high school for one or more years, or have passed all sections of the GED.
