May 20, 2019 – Las Vegas, NV – Chairman Stevens joined the Oklahoma tribal leaders, at the Northeastern Oklahoma Indigo Sky Expo (NOISE) where he presented a Chairman’s leadership award to Matthew Morgan for his continued dedication to the advancement of tribal government gaming. Morgan, who is the Director of Gaming Affairs at Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce, also serves on the Executive Board of the National Indian Gaming Association. In the spirit and coming off of the successful Indian Gaming 2019, where the National Indian Gaming Association paid recognition to women tribal leadership, with the 2019 Warrior Women honoring, Stevens took the opportunity to present Glenna Wallace, Chief of the Eastern Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma with her 2019 Warrior Women plaque. Chief Wallace was unable to attend the annual tradeshow event.
