ANHAM, MD — Sperry Van Ness, one of the na- tion’s largest commercial real estate brokerage firms, has recently completed an indus- trial property sale transaction totaling $2,159,250 for 25,500 s/f led by Scott Skogmo, SIOR of Sperry Van Ness/Skogmo Commercial. The newly R2 certified Capi- tol Asset IT & Recycling Solu- tions company has purchased an office/warehouse facility on 1.36 acres at 4721 Boston Way in Lanham. The property will now be

used as the new Capitol As- set headquarters, warehouse, and distribution facility. The building features approxi- mately 5,000 s/f of office and the remainder is warehouse and distribution space. Built in the 1970’s, the building is served by three docks and one drive-in door, with brick and block construction. Skogmo, SIOR represented the buyer and the team of Mike Roden, Jay O’Donnell, and Ralph Haught of CBRE represented the seller. ■

Marcus & Millichap completes $1.25m sale

COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, WASHINGTON, DC — Mar- cus & Millichap Real Es- tate Investment Services announced the sale of 2914 Sherman Avenue NW, Wash- ington DC (shown above), an 18-unit apartment property, according to Bryn Merrey, VP/regional manager of the firm’s Washington, D.C. of- fice. The asset commanded a sales price of $1.25 million. Marty Zupancic, an invest- ment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Washington, D.C. office, had the listing to market the property on be- half of the seller. The buyer, Madison Investments, was secured and represented by Zupancic as well. “2914 Sherman Ave. NW is one of the last physically and legally vacant multi- family properties in the Co- lumbia Heights submarket.
