Binswanger announced the sale of a 215,508 s/f manufacturing and cross-dock warehouse building on approximately 10.66 acres situated at 3501 South East Blvd. The property sold for $2,100,000. The buyer, Townsend Farms, grows, processes, and deliv- ers premium berries to stores around the country and plans to use the facility for processing and freezing fresh berries from local growers. The building was originally constructed for the Rennoc Corporation as a garment manufacturing facility. Amulti- million dollar renovation of the property will include raising the ceiling height in a portion of the building, adding freezer space as well as processing equipment. General Mills leas- es a portion of the building and will remain as a tenant. The property is located ap- proximately one mile from exit 27 of Route 55 with access to the New Jersey Turnpike, I-295, all major East Coast Highways and is 40 minutes to downtown Philadelphia; 55 minutes to Philadelphia Inter- national Airport, and less than two hours to New York City.
