• NPT-F 1/2” Connection • Small Compact footprint • Can be used on suction or discharge side of pump • Max Pressure: 150 PSI G • Max Temperature: 82 Deg C • No seals or maintenance required

What is an ACCU-VENT and why use it? Gases and vapours are compressible, and if not vented can cause what is known as vapour lock in your metering pump system. This causes the metering pump to either discharge chemical inaccurately or worse, causes the pump to stop discharging com- pletely known as vapour lock.

The ACCU-VENT automatic degassing valves are designed to automatically vent gases and vapours most commonly found in chemicals such as Sodium Hypochlorite, Sulphuric Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide.

The valve is designed to allow for the venting gases and condensed vapour to flow back to the feed tank, which improves the priming on start-ups and provides continuous and trouble free operation while working under pressure. When in operation, the valve vents gases, vapour and a small amount of chemical being pumped.

For best operation and to prevent personnel or equipment coming into contact with vented corrosive fluids, it is recommended to return through hard piping or tubing back to the supply tank.
