Kappa Journal Post-Conclave Issue (Fall 2017)

83 RD GRAND CHAPTER MEETING: BUSINESS SESSION HIGHLIGHTS

Anthony Clark: Standing in the Gaap is a program where we are educat- ing the African American community about multiple myeloma. I am happy to report that Kappa Alpha Psi ® has achieved and exceeded all of our expec- tations at Celgene ® . Since our partner- ship, we now have the largest Facebook presence for patients, caregivers and healthcare providers advocating for patients with multiple myeloma.

David Barker: On behalf of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and our acting assistant director, this is an honor. The theme of the FBI is very similar to what we've been talking about. Patriotism and country, community, right and legacy. The FBI is looking for qualified young men and women. We have 1,500 agents around the world. We have fewer than 500 African Americans right now. This is an excellent place for us to be. Go to FBIjobs.com, consider service, consider doing something for your country and community. Thank you Brothers.

Michael J. Dubose: Grainger ® has partnered both with the fraternity and with the foundation. I'm very excited to have a company that goes with me where I go into the community and with this great organization. And, we will continue to support the initiatives of Kappa Alpha Psi ® .
