presented different opportunities to work and fulfill my potential while making my path clear in terms of capitalizing on my strengths and improving on my weaknesses. I was blessed with the opportunity to be a part of the third class of LEAD Kappa during the 83 rd Grand Chapter Meeting in Orlando, Florida which I am so grateful to Dr. Samuel Odom for reaching out to me as a Neophyte to experience this ‘golden’ opportunity…once I became aware of what LEAD Kappa was about I knew it was a challenge that I couldn’t pass up…. I never thought I would be open to so many networking opportunities and build a bond with so many business professionals that are members of Kappa.” Brother Jefferson credits his success to his parents and his recent experiences at LEAD Kappa as a 2017 graduate of the 3rd Class of the LEAD Kappa of Kappa Alpha Psi. According to Brother Jefferson, “LEAD Kappa is by far the best opportunity for growth I have had and I definitely recommend that all undergraduate brothers apply and take advantage of information and guidance that is shared throughout the duration of LEAD Kappa. Brother Jefferson comes from a family that is full of current and former military service members in various components. Although neither one of my parents chose the military, my maternal and paternal grandfathers were both US Army Vietnam Veterans. Cadet Jefferson also has an aunt and uncle who are both former members of the US Marine Corps. Brother Jefferson’s objectives are to remain committed to the fundamentals of achievement, continue to show himself worthy, give back to his community and to our Noble Clan for giving him so much in the way of leadership and opening the door to an enduring bond of fraternity. “I look forward to serving my country alongside my fellow service members in the Defense of our Nation.” J oshua N.
