KAPPAS IN SPORTS

Bond, if you can put it into words.

Remy: Proud! Just one word, proud! I was excited throughout the whole process. Excited for him, excited for me. If you talk to my sands, they’ll tell you I was sending them notes all the time. I had my son reach out to my sands. He is actually the first legacy from all of the bothers on my line. My younger son is a sophomore at the same school. He hasn’t pledged yet, I say yet, but he’s a different kind of brother so we’ll see. I don’t push them, I want him to make his own decisions in life. But he’s a great kid. A pre-law major and carries a 4.0 GPA. Will probably go to law school after graduating. Journal: One more question brother; What advice would you give a young person who looks to have a similar ca- reer result to yours? Remy: Work hard, stay focused, be patient, and exercise sound judgment. Or as our grandparents used to say, Good Sense! Be Flexible. Be adaptable. Because Every opportunity doesn’t come out of a cookie cutter.

Above: Brother Remy along with his line brothers the charter line of Nu Iota Spring 1987. Below, left with President Clinton during his time in the attorney general's office; with his son Johnathan "Alex" Remy (Lambda Omega 2016) as he delivered the commencement speech at his graduation.
