The Public Meeting Commences
Humanitarian awards were presented to Roslyn M. Brock, Congressman John F. Lewis, in abstentia, Benjamin L. Crump, Esq., and Darryl D. Parks, Esq. The Humanitarian Award was created by the Grand Board of Directors in 1976 to honor individuals, without regard to membership, who have extended America’s bounteous life to its disadvantaged citizens. The evening also featured greetings from the National Pan-Hellenic Council Inc. along with the members of the Divine Nine. What follows are snapshots and reflections of the occasion.
