The HKHRF, in partnership with the WAC has raised $ 175,000 to date which has been used to construct a new portico on the front of the House; install new restrooms; a new roof; and central air conditioning for the House among other improvements. The Historic Kappa House restoration project is being managed in partnership with the WAC by the Historic Kappa Hous Restoration Foundation,(HKHRF) a non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c) (3) organization created to preserve and protect this historic edifice. The HKHRF is managing a $ 3.5 million Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (WAC) This four story Georgian Architectural Style Mansion was built in 1908 and acquired b the WAC in 1949.
