WHEATON ANNUITIES pay generous dividends for life

F r a n k , my Sunday School superin tendent, came to my home and asked me if I would receive Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour.” This was a young man’s testimony, ex plaining how he became a Christian. More than ten years had passed since he was saved and Bob was now a devoted and capable Christian work er. As he told of his conversion, his friends were thrilled to learn that Bob had been brought to Christ by a faithful Sunday School worker. This is what had happened: Bob was a typical boy who at tended Sunday School regularly and was taught the Bible by a faithful teacher. He knew the Bible stories and was interested in the activities of the church. One Sunday his name appeared on a list of those who were recommended for church membership. When Frank saw this, he was deeply concerned for Bob had not mhde a personal decision to receive Christ as his personal Saviour. Frank felt impressed to call at Bob’s home and talk over with him the mat ter of his personal salvation. Bob’s mother invited him to the home. Frank prayed that he might help Bob come into the church as a true child of God. First, he told Bob he was pleased that he had decided t6 become a member of the church, then asked: “ Bob, when did you receive Christ as your personal Saviour?” Bob answered very frankly, “ I don’t re member that I ever did.” “When you come into the church,” Frank con tinued, “ you come into the family of God. Wouldn’t you also want to be a true child of God?” Bob immediate ly consented. Frank showed Bob from the Bible how to do this and then said, “ Bob, would you like to do this right now?” Bob was ready, and they knelt to gether and Bob accepted Christ. The next Sunday Bob, already a member of the living church, also became a member of the visible church. Sunday school 'teacher, will you pray that you will introduce your pupils to the Lord? It is the greatest service you can give them.
