Assisting on the scoring were Jakob Brunette, Frédérick Laflèche, and Patrick Ranger. Game seven, at the Saint-Isidore Arena, finished 3-1 for Bytown. Scoring for Saint- Isidore was Kevin Howson, with an assist from Jakob Brunette. Dawson Irving was in goal for both games.
The season is finished for Saint-Isidore’s junior hockey team. Les Aigles de Saint-Isidore had their hope of making the semifinals of the National Capi- tal Junior Hockey League (NCJHL) playoffs shot down by a team, which has sat near the bottom of the league standings all season. The Bytown Royals pulled off an upset streak of four wins, during the past week, to take away Saint-Isidore’s chance of success in the best-of-seven quarterfinals series. Saint-Isidore clinched the first three games of the series and seemed sure to make it four games straight, until the Royals managed to nail a win by a two-point margin, on their home ice, in the fourth match. The fifth, sixth, and seventh games all finished in Bytown’s favour, again by a two-point margin
