LOCATION

King’s Business School lies at the heart of central London and moments from the River Thames. Its precise location is in Bush House, the former headquarters of the BBC World Service and now part of King’s College London’s expanded Strand Campus. London places in the top two in several rankings of global cities, including the Global Financial Centres Index and Kearney’s Global Cities Index. As such, King’s Business School’s location is pivotal to its outlook and is said to offer its students and staff unlimited opportunities for collaboration, research and career development.

HISTORY

COURSES

AMBA accredits King’s Business School’s executive MBA (EMBA) and MSc in international management degrees. The EMBA is a two-year programme that puts purpose and impact front and centre. It also aims to be broader in its coverage than a traditional EMBA, allowing participants to make their mark in business beyond their usual expertise. The MSc is a one-year, pre-experience qualification delivered by the school’s Department of Strategy, International Management & Entrepreneurship. Students can also undertake a double degree by pursuing one of three master’s degrees in a second year spent at Luiss Business School in Rome.

King’s College London is one of the oldest universities in England, established by royal charter in 1829 under the patronage of King George IV and the Duke of Wellington. A School of Management & Business was created at the university in 1989, before King’s Business School was formed in 2017. One of nine faculties at King’s College London, the school comprises seven departments, each responsible for its own teaching and research. It also houses four research centres, including the Centre for Sustainable Business and FinWork Futures, an interdisciplinary endeavour investigating the evolution of careers in finance in the context of new technologies.
