Everything combined for a good time at this year’s Hawkesbury Country Music Festival. “I think it was a big success,” said Yves Paquette, one of the co-founders and pro- moters of the annual country music event. Paquette noted that late-July weather blessed the festival with sunshine and organizers had a good lineup of local and regional musicians to take to the stage at Pioneer Place. i/PUIJOHXFOUXSPOH uIFTBJE Most spectators during the festival tried to keep to the shade when possible, due to the summer heatwave. Those who sat out in the sun made sure they had their sunblock and sunglasses on. This year’s event is the ninth edition of the Hawkesbury Country Music Festival.
