Rana Idrees A writer, translator, and cultural activist from Syria General Director of Dar Al Adab for Publishing and Distribution from 1986 until now. She translated many literary articles from English and French to Arabic, in addition to translating a novel by Milan Kundera and a novel by Margaret Duras. She participated in judging many literary awards and was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Booker Prize between 2019 and 2021.
