Do they not believe in C h rist?” P erh ap s Amer­ ican and English Roman Catholics may have a Bible, b u t it m ust needs be a Douai version which has foot-notes according to the doctrines of th e Cath­ olic church; bu t they never study th e Bible, th e priests do not have Bible classes, and fu rtherm ore, th e p riest does no t even study the Bible him self while preparing for th e priesthood. But as for the Latin-American Roman Cath­ olics, they never saw a Bible un til th e American Bible Society, and th e B ritish and Foreign Bible Society, sent colpor­ te u rs into those countries to circulate th e Bible, th e w riter being th e first col­ po rteu r in th e Republic of Salvador, Central America, and la ter for several
