Welcome to the 24th Annual Southern Producers Replacement Heifer Sale!
Thank you for your interest in this exceptional group of high-quality replacement females. Our consignors have adhered to a strict set of standards to ensure that only the most sound and productive bred heifers are eligible for this sale. Each heifer has been palpated and confirmed pregnant within 30 days of sale day. To further minimize calving risk, we’ve included pelvic measurements, and all cattle have been carefully evaluated for structural soundness and health. If you happen to notice a concern that may have been overlooked, please let us know prior to the sale. Over the past 24 years, the quality of our offering has continued to rise — and this year is no exception. Inside this catalog, you'll find heifers that bred within a defined window and are in excellent body condition, ready for a successful calving season. In today’s market, both the quality of the cattle and the reputation of the consignor carry significant value. To support your decision- making, we’ve included service-sire EPDs in the catalog. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our consignors—they’re happy to assist and provide additional insight. Please note that due to Brahman influence, some heifers may mature later. For this reason, certain consignors choose to calve these females as three-year-olds. As a result, we allow the sale of heifers that have just cut their three-year-old teeth. These animals are clearly marked in the catalog for your reference.
Thank you for your interest, and we appreciate your consideration ,

These heifers are sired by Reg. Angus, Brangus, and Hereford bulls. They were raised on our vaccination program and were boostered in May. Our herd has been selected for maternal traits, and this is reflected in high fertility and strong mothering abilities. They were raised on forages with limited supplements. This hand feeding helps tremendously with disposition as they are accustomed to being handled. They were bred to LBW Angus and T3 Brangus bulls. Most heifers will calve in September and October. Three nice BWF are due in January. They are bred to make easy keeping, easy handling cows!

We have been running predominantly Red Angus Cattle since 2011. The dams of these heifers are mostly moderate-framed, good mamas, with good dispositions. Since weaning, these heifers have rotated between two small pastures. Their main forage has been Bahia grass, with times access to Rye grass and Tifleaf 3 millet during Winter and Summer seasons. Within the last year, these heifers were worked 9/27/24 and 12/9/24. The following vaccines were used on both occasions: Bovishield Gold FP5 L5, Cydectin, and Vision 8. Pour-on wormer was applied on 7/23/25. All heifers were AI’d 1/11/2025. The clean -up bull was placed in on 1/28/25 and taken out on 3/23/25. Based on the pregnancy checks, all heifers should be between 23-25 month old at calving. Both AI (“Rancher” St Genetics) and clean-up bull (young bull from Jones College) are Registered Red Angus bulls.
Based on preg check:
• Tag #’s 35, 36, 38, 39, 40, 42- AI bred and should calve around 10/20/2025. • Tag #’s 34, 37, 41 - bred by clean-up bull and should calve November-early December.

What a great time to be in the cattle business! We feel blessed to be able to raise these cattle. We bred 27 head this year. We are still trying to build up our numbers, so we are only offering 6 of them in this year’s sale. These heifers were AI’d to Angus Expo nential and cleaned up with Angus PR Resource. Our cattle are raised on grass and supplemented with approximately 3lbs of grain per day. These heifers are farm raised, not bought. They were born from October 2023 to January 2024, so they will calve as true 2-year-olds. The counterparts to these heifers that we keep every year have done extremely well for us, year after year, and we believe they will do the same for you!

We have been in the commercial cattle business since 1970 and have chosen seedstock that work well. These cattle are the product of choosing bulls with excellent EPDs. Our cows are selected to have good attitudes, be easy-keeping and have high production. Of the last 1,712+ cows and heifers that have calved on our ranch, we have assisted with only five deliveries (four were breech). These heifers were pregnancy checked, pelvic measured, and de-wormed on 6/11/25 by Dr. David Christiansen from the MSU Vet School. The heifers were given all black leg/booster colistridal immunizations as well as booster immunizations for vibrio/five leptoes and other stay bred viruses. The heifers were ear tagged with Tri-zap insecticide along with pour on wormer/horn fly prevention. They are up to date on all immunizations. Also, they have been immunized for calf scours and should have a booster shot a month prior to calving. Dr Kim Klunk, MSU Vet School Ambulatory Service, performed final pregnancy check on 7/24/25. The last seven Registered Black Brangus bulls that we have used had EPDs that average: BW= -1.7; CED= +8.9; WW= +14.1 ; YW = +22.9; Milk = +7.9. The registered Brangus that the heifers are bred to has EPD’s as follows: BW= -0.5; CED = +7.8; WW = +59.2; YW = +104. We’ve been using Cow Creek and Town Creek bulls since 1999. Our F1 tigerstripe Braford herd cows have been purchased and added to our Brangus based herd. The heifers for this sale were carefully selected, they are used to people, come when you call and some will eat out of your hand. They range from 4 to 6 months bred as of the sale day and all are bred to one of our Black Brangus bulls. There are 16 heifers from our herd and 5 F1 Braford Tigerstripes that we purchased as yearlings. These Tigerstripes are from gentle, good- uddered polled Hereford cows and a gray Brahman bull. All of the heifers are accustomed to electric fences as well as other non electric fences.

1105 Hubert Dedeaux Rd. Kiln, MS 39556 (228) 216-3404
In November 2024, our world changed forever. Michael was called home to be with the Good Lord while checking fences in the pasture. Since that day, life on our cattle farms has not been the same. Yet, through faith and hard work, we continue our mission. Michael’s widow, Leslie, along with his stepson, Eli, have stepped up in a big way — continuing Michael’s legacy and playing a vital role in the operations of Ladner x Ladner. We are committed to raising high-quality Brangus and Brahman-influenced replacement heifers. Now in our 17th year of participation in this sale, we remain passionate about raising cattle with strong maternal traits and heat tolerance — qualities essential for our Southern climate. At Ladner x Ladner, our cattle are handled regularly by various family members depending on the season. This frequent interaction helps desensitize the cattle, making for easy penning, sorting, and transport. As a result, our cattle exhibit calm, manageable dispositions. We focus on efficiency, with an emphasis on using seasonal grazing (summer and winter forage) as our primary growth source. Breeding Information: - All heifers were artificially inseminated (A.I.) in the first week of December 2024 using Registered Brangus Bulls: • CB Paramount 7139H2 (Owned by T3 Brangus and Cavender Brangus) • T3 Kingcraft • Heifers were then pasture exposed to our low-birth-weight Brangus bull, Spurs S Final Cut 541H11 — a $7,500 selection from Pine-Belt Alliance Member, Spur S Cattle.
