CHAMBER NEWS DODGE CITY DAYS 2025 DELIVERS RECORD-BREAKING CROWDS, ECONOMIC BOOST, AND UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES Dodge City Days 2025 has wrapped up another unforgettable year, with ten days of Western heritage, community pride, and world-class entertainment drawing tens of thousands of visitors from across Kansas and beyond. From July 25 to August 3, the city welcomed an estimated 100,000 attendees who enjoyed events ranging from rodeos and parades to concerts, classic car shows, and family-friendly activities. This year’s festival is estimated to have generated $3 million in direct revenue and a total economic impact of $9 million, providing a significant boost to local businesses, hotels, and restaurants. “Dodge City Days is more than just a festival – it’s a celebration of who we are,” said Joni Wittman, Events & Marketing Director of the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce. “We’re proud to share our Western heritage with visitors from all over the country, and the success of 2025 shows just how much this tradition means to our community.” Festival Highlights Included: Roundup Rodeo – The PRCA-style rodeo returned with thrilling competition and a historic first: dual announcers Andy Seiler and Boyd Polhamus, paired together for the first time since 2007. Western Parade – More than 120 floats paraded through Dodge City, providing entertainment for the masses! Live Music – The “I Want My 80’s” Tour featuring Rick Springfield kicked off the opening weekend with a sold-out crowd singing along to classic hits. Followed by Duston Lynch as the star of Dodge City Days. Albert and Inga at Central Station brought evening entertainment from the likes of Paramount to Jon Wolfe and William Beckmann. Classic Car Show – Held at Wright Park, this fan-favorite event showcased vintage cars and trucks, complete with a People’s Choice award.

The 2025 celebration also reinforced Dodge City’s national recognition as one of True West Magazine’s Top 10 Western Towns.

Dodge City Days continues to honor our history while creating new memories for future generations. From the rodeo arena to Main Street, the energy, excitement, and pride were felt everywhere this year.

Planning is already underway for Dodge City Days 2026, promising even more entertainment, community engagement, and celebration of the Cowboy Capital of the World.
