DAY 1 | CHRISTCHURCH Arrive and be transported to your hotel, Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square. DAY 2 & 3 | CHRISTCHURCH – FRANZ JOSEF Experience a scenic journey on Tranz Alpine train to Greymouth, where you can collect your rental car from the Greymouth Railway Depot. Then, delight in the Glacier Valley Walk and unwind in the Glacier Hot Pools at Franz Josef Glacier Guides. DAY 4 & 5 | FRANZ JOSEF – QUEENSTOWN Indulge in one of New Zealand’s most scenic road trips while experiencing the excitement of Dart River Jet Safaris. DAY 6 | QUEENSTOWN – TE ANAU Drive through the unique landscapes to Te Anau, a gateway to Fiordland National Park and experience the Milford Sound Nature Cruise. DAY 7 | TE ANAU – INVERCARGILL Discover Invercargill, one of the southernmost cities in the world, with Lynette Jack Sights tour. DAY 8 | INVERCARGILL – DUNEDIN Drive to Dunedin, known for its Scottish and Maori heritage, with an overnight at Hotel St Clair. DAY 9 & 10 | DUNEDIN – CHRISTCHURCH Explore Christchurch with an overnight at Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square. The next day, check out from the hotel and drop-off the rental car at Christchurch Airport.
South Africa is well known for its attractions that entice; and the Garden Route, a safari experience and the Cape Winelands are some of the most sought after. DAY 1 & 2 | CAPE TOWN Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve, then proceed to the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach and Fish Hoek village. DAY 3, 4 & 5 | CAPE TOWN – OUDTSHOORN – KNYSNA Visit a local farm school, then continue to Oudtshoorn, the centre of the world’s Ostrich farming industry. Embark on a tour of the limestone caverns of the Cango Caves. Travel into the magical Knysna Forests and explore the wonders of nature, then visit the Dalene Matthee Big Tree Memorial. DAY 6 & 7 | KNYSNA – ALBERTINIA - HERMANUS Travel via George and Mossel Bay to Albertinia, then join an afternoon open vehicle game drive at a private game reserve. Start with an early morning game drive, followed by a visit to the picturesque town of Swellendam. Make your way to the charming seaside resort of Hermanus. DAY 8 | HERMANUS - CAPE TOWN Travel to Franschhoek, a picturesque village surrounded by spectacular vineyards, drive past the Victor Verster prison, where Nelson Mandela was released. Finally, onto Cape Town. DAY 9 | CAPE TOWN Enjoy some last-minute shopping, then transfer to the airport for your return flight.
