The property, which was built in 1976 for the Fuller Co. headquarters and expand- ed in 1996 when Fuller Co. become part of the FLSmidth group of companies, will be redeveloped for the Lehigh Valley Academy, an IB World School, and will be ready for occupancy for the opening of the 2023-2024 school year. Cindy McDonnell Fein- berg, CCIM of Feinberg Real Estate Advisors, LLC repre- sented LVA in the acquisition of the property. The sellers, FLSmidth Inc. and Fuller Company were represented by JLL . The property was purchased for $15.5 million. “The size and location of the property made it a per- fect choice for LVA’s new K through 12 campus,” said LVA chief executive officer Susan Mauser. “The location is less than one mile from our current location and remains very con- venient for our students, their families and our staff.” “When the property became available our architect, AL- LOY5 Architecture, did a test fit to determine if our three schools, K-5, 6-8 and 9-12, would fit into the two three-story buildings,” added Mauser. “We determined that they would fit perfectly so we spent the past nine months preparing the designs, con- firming school configurations and obtaining board approval for our new location.” Commenting on working with Cindy Feinberg, Mauser said, “LVA thoroughly enjoyed working with Cindy on this project. She is very experi- enced, knowledgeable, detail oriented, responsive and was always willing to tackle the difficult discussions.
