FFTA & FQC Announce 2025 Scholarship Recipients FFTA has announced the recipients of the 2025 Scholarship and Gary Hilliard FQC Schol- arship, recognizing two outstanding students.

Flair Packaging is expanding its Canadian manufacturing capabilities with the installation of a 10-color flexographic press and a solventless laminator at its plant in Calgary, Alberta. To support this growth, Flair has also acquired a second plant in Calgary, adding 35,000 square feet of warehouse and production space, which now serves as the new location for its converting equipment. Andrew Kidd, a Graphic Communication student at California Polytechnic State Univer- sity - San Luis Obispo, has been awarded the 2025 FFTA Scholarship. A full-time student, parent, and wine label designer, Kidd brings a unique blend of industry experience and cre- ative vision to his studies. Maxon Morse, a senior at Clemson Uni- versity studying Graphic Communications, is this year’s recipient of the Gary Hilliard FQC Scholarship. His research project explores how the use of foil in four-color process print- ing affects color management. The FFTA and FQC Scholarship Programs continue to support students pursuing careers in flexography and graphic communications. Recipients must demonstrate academic excel- lence, commitment to the field, and potential to advance the printing and packaging industry.
