Residents and Beachwood Community Services Patrons, As autumn arrives in Northeast Ohio, I am excited to share all the recreational offerings the City of Beachwood has planned for this fall season. Our Community Services Department continues to expand its innovative programming and engaging events designed to bring us together. Please mark your calendars for one of our most popular annual events, Beachwood’s Fall Festival , taking place on Sunday, September 28, from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. This year’s Treasure Island theme promises adventure, fun, and surprises for the whole family. We’re thrilled to be partnering once again with Crestmont, whose sponsorship helps make this event a highlight of the season. To kick off the celebration, don’t miss our Fall Festival Concert & Fireworks on Saturday, September 27 at 8:00 PM. This year, we’re welcoming The Miss Americanas, a high-energy Taylor Swift tribute band, for a night of music under the stars, followed by a spectacular fireworks show. Beyond our Fall Festival, we’re excited to provide a lineup of new programs: • Smarty Paws Basic Obedience Dog Training launches this season, led by certified dog trainer David Sacks. These six-week sessions begin September 8, and continue through the fall and winter. • Our collaboration with T3 Performance at UH Ahuja is growing. This fall, we’re expanding our offerings with several sport-specific camps and clinics. • We’re also excited to welcome Julie Konrad to the team as our new SilverSneakers instructor. Julie brings a wealth of experience and positive energy to her classes and will also lead Wellness Retreats and a Gentle Stretch & Deep Rest class — perfect for recharging the body and mind. • This fall, our Beachwood Community Theater returns with a lively youth production of Grease , in partnership with Marquee Showcase Productions. We encourage you to get involved in this production. • For our senior community, we’re excited to introduce Seniors Create , a new monthly craft series led by Program Manager Shannon Diamond. Each month, a new theme and creative project will be featured. Wishing you and your families a fun and active fall season. I hope to see you at this year’s Fall Festival and around the community!
