Dubai Business School forms part of the University of Dubai (UD), a subsidiary of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI). The institution was founded as Dubai Polytechnic in 1997, with the aim of providing high-quality education and research to support the business community in Dubai and the UAE. It became the University of Dubai in 2006, on receipt of full university status and recognition. Alongside Dubai Business School, UD encompasses the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT), the College of Law and a general education department.
COURSES There are eight bachelor’s in business
LOCATION Dubai Business School is situated in the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) most populous city; home to around four million people, of whom 92 per cent are said to be expatriates. The school is based in Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), a higher education hub housing domestic and international institutions, including the Institute of Management Technology Dubai and the local campuses of Hult International Business School and the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Tying in with the UAE’s 2050 carbon neutrality vision, the UD campus has achieved a LEED Zero Energy certification.
