Student enrolment numbers were close to 550 at Dubai Business School in 2022-23, of whom around 50 embarked on the school’s MBA programme options, a further 50 enrolled in its PhD programme and the remainder were split across its roster of BBAs. Across UD, student enrolments totalled approximately 1,200, of whom 28 per cent were defined as expats. Teaching and administrative services at the university in 2022/23 were supported by 74 faculty members and 83 non-academic staff. A number of specialised labs and research centres have launched at UD in recent years, including the geoscience-focused Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre Lab in 2018 and the Future Foresight Scenario Lab in 2022, offering simulation-based learning experiences. DIAC, together with Dubai Knowledge Park, makes up TECOM Group’s Education Cluster, said to encompass more than 33,500 learners of all ages from 170 countries.
