Pumpkin Creations Join us for family fun at the City of Dublin’s Halloween Spooktacular signature event! Carve or paint your own pumpkin—it’s your choice! Create a “boo-tiful” Halloween decoration to take home. Drop in anytime between 4–6:30 p.m.
Join Ms. Barbara at the DCRC Pond for a fun, family evening of fishing! Get up close and hands-on with nature as we practice techniques to catch fish, including how to properly cast and catch. Equipment and supplies are provided; however, families are welcome to bring their own poles. This program is open to all ages. All participants who plan to actively engage (e.g., fish) must register and pay the associated fee. The registration fee is linked to the supplies provided for the program. Parent or provider participation is required for individuals under the age of 18, as well as for participants who may require supervision or support throughout the duration of the program. to complete your pumpkin creation. This self-led activity takes about 20 minutes to complete. All pumpkins must be finished by 6:30 p.m., as supplies are cleaned up promptly at that time. Each ticket includes one pie-sized pumpkin and all necessary decorating supplies (one pumpkin per ticket). If you choose to paint, we recommend bringing a box or bin to safely transport your pumpkin home. This program is open to all ages. Participants who plan to actively engage (e.g., carve or paint a pumpkin) must register and pay the associated fee, which is linked to the supplies provided for the event. Pumpkin Pick-Up: Parking may be a short walk from the pumpkin carving area. If needed, staff can hold your pumpkin while you enjoy the rest of the event. Fall Fest Recreation Services Staff Join us for an evening of fall family fun! Participants swim in the leisure pool’s “pumpkin patch” and bob for pumpkins. Volunteers are needed days, evenings and weekends at the Dublin Community Recreation Center, assisting instructors with recreation classes for preschool and youth participants.
