After relocating to California in 1970, she earned a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from San Jose State University. In 1980, she founded her own counseling and consulting practice, where she became known for her expertise in communication and her work with both individuals and Fortune 500 companies. With a deep understanding of human nature and strong interpersonal skills, Lydia brings a unique perspective to her real estate career. She understands that for many families, finding a home is about more than just a transaction—it’s about creating a safe haven and a nurturing environment for their children. Lydia and her husband, Dom, raised their two children in Saratoga and have been proud residents of the South Bay since 1970. In 2001, both Lydia and Dom transitioned into real estate as second careers. Their decades-long familiarity with the area—especially its schools and neighborhoods, has been a cornerstone of their success in helping clients buy and sell homes throughout the region. Beyond real estate, Lydia is very active in the community. She has served on the Town of Los Gatos Senior Commission and was recognized as Senior of the Year in 2018. She is a proud member of Los Gatos Rotary and past president of Inner Wheel of Los Gatos, raising thousands of dollars towards providing my-electric limbs to children born without limbs. Lydia volunteers and supports the Montalvo Center for the Arts, Los Gatos Jazz on the Plazz, Los Gatos History Club and Saint Mary's Church in Los Gatos. In addition, Lydia has been a member of the American Association of University Women, Alliance League of Los Gatos-Saratoga, and Valley Women's League. Mike is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in sales, beginning his career in the tech industry after graduating from UC Berkeley. He later joined the family real estate business, bringing with him a results-driven mindset and client-focused approach. Known for his attention to detail and dedication to client satisfaction, Mike has built a reputation for delivering a seamless and positive experience throughout the buying and selling process. His strong network of industry professionals and his skilled negotiation abilities are key assets that consistently benefit his clients. Mike and his wife of 30 years, Jennifer, have been proud South Bay residents since 1995. They raised their three sons in the community, all of whom attended Leigh High School. Like his parents, Mike’s deep-rooted connection to the area fuels his passion for helping others find their place in this special region. With strong roots in service, Mike embodies the values of the Los Gatos Rotary Club where he has been involved since 2003 and served as president twice. He is passionate about local initiatives such as youth scholarships and entrepreneurial conferences as well as impactful international service projects in El Salvador, Guatemala and Kenya. Rotary's philosophy of "Service Above Self" has been an integral part of everything he does. Mike’s leadership and community involvement extend beyond real estate and Rotary. He has also served as president of the local little league and coached for over ten years. His dedication to making a difference was recognized in 2020 when he was named Executive of the Year for his successful fundraising efforts, raising over $40,000 for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. Outside of his professional and volunteer work, Mike is an avid runner, having completed 10 marathons and two Rim to Rim treks across the Grand Canyon. His ability to push through challenges and his unwavering perseverance highlight his dedication to both his personal and professional pursuits.
