30. 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers w/Pee Wee Reese (HOF) Original Type I Photo by Barney Stein (PSA/DNA - Clyde King Collection) MINIMUM BID: $150
Spectacular 1949 Type I photograph of the legendary Jackie Robinson, as captured by official Brooklyn Dodgers team photographer, Barney Stein. This image famously served as the source material for Robinson’s iconic 1950 Bowman #22 card, easily one of the most attractive cardboard issues featuring the color line pioneer. Shot at Ebbett’s Field in Brooklyn, Robinson remains in sharp focus, depicted with tremendous eye appeal while following through on his swing from the right side. Large format 8” x 10” photograph exhibits typical handling wear in the form of corner abrasions and gentle creasing to the perimeter. Handwritten notations are scattered throughout verso, with two dated newspaper clippings affixed featuring the very same image. Authenticated and encapsulated as a Type I photo by PSA/DNA. MINIMUM BID: $1,500
