New Pulverizer Disk Grinder in Kent "M.A.A.G.I.E." MAAG Reduction installation of (2) new 5-axisCNC grinding machines is progressing and we are now able to work fully unattended for 24 hours and are working to reach 48 hours. Operators only need to perform periodic tasks such as removing finished parts from the crate and refilling the machine with raw materials for the next production cycle. This next-generation automated cell for the disk grinding process is intended to reduce downtime and improve the customer experience by delivering products as quickly as possible. Kent employees held a naming contest for the new robotic machine. The name M.A.A.G.I.E. - Modern Approach to Automated Grinding and Intuitive Execution – submitted by Allen Mandel, was the winner from a pool of over 30 suggestions. Congrats, Allen, on coming up with a creative name!
