Having collaborated with galleries and restaurants over the years, Dennis earnestly shares, “Personally, I found that with all the doors and opportunities that the internet has opened, artists don’t have to be completely reliant on galleries for exposure or sales -- but they certainly are important pieces of the big picture.” Regarding the value of community-based art, Dennis expresses, “It’s interesting to me that culture and its branches — such as fine art, and the extent and depth that it appears in human life — is, I believe, one of the major things that makes us different from the other life forms on the planet. To celebrate that is very appropriate, so it’s wonderful that we do so in many ways -- from festivals to gallery shows and public art. Music, movies and stage plays are related and pertinent, as well.”
