“Art has been an anchor during uncertain times,” Kimberley expresses. “Whether processing trauma or being displaced, art has always found me and I lean into that.” Describing her creative process, Kimberley conveys, “I will have paintings stuck in my head and when I sit down, it flows right out. I am somewhere else, in a rhythm.” As Kimberley evolves her business, she aims to increase her visibility and collaboration within the community, through workshops and bringing women together in creative spaces. As Kimberley earnestly encourages, “If it comes from a place of creation, I’m passionate about telling people to run toward the thing that lights you up.” Reflecting on her career thus far, Kimberley is proud to have created two mural pieces at The Harvest Table -- where she has also led workshops and intends to participate in more. During Kimberley’s sessions, she provides the materials to her students along with live musical accompaniment by her mother. “You get a peek into what my home was like growing up – my mom playing, my sister dancing around the house, and my art at the kitchen table. My parents fostered the arts in our home, and I want to share that with others.”

Connect with Kimberley about her collection – which includes prints – through ‘Artist Kimberley Howcroft’ on Instagram, where she posts about business updates and upcoming workshops. “Art is always a part of my life,” Kimberley beams.

and spirit in her paintings. “Everything has pushed me toward this work, which is adjacent and immersed in my healing work.”
