Warranty Policy Perfect Start, Deka automotive, & light truck battery warranties are non‐transferrable & only apply to original vehicle & purchaser. Warranty is described as to be free from defects in manufacturers material & workmanship. Perfect Start, Deka automotive, & light truck batteries have free replacement periods as follows; value line 12 months, premium line – 24 months, gold line – 30 months and ultimate line – 36 months. No proration applies to Perfect Start or Deka automotive batteries. You must return your purchase receipt and the battery with its warranty punch out date intact. If punch out date is altered, or if purchase receipt is unavailable, the beginning date of this warranty will be based on the battery manufacturers production date code. The warrany does not cover: A. Discharged batteries that can be recharged and returned to service. B. Broken container, cover, or terminals. C. A battery that is smaller than specified by the OEM. D. Overcharging, damage due to neglect or abuse, freezing, fire, wreckage or charging in reverse. E. Cost of recharging or use of rental batteries or vehicles. F. Loss of time, inconvenience, vehicle use, labor, towing or other incidental damages.
