Clyde & Co in Saudi Arabia (English)

Achievements

For those students who aspire to qualify as UK solicitors looking to practise in Saudi Arabia, the firm offers the MEA training contract .

We’re committed to employing local talent, as evidenced by our office with 64% Saudi nationals .

We work closely with the Saudi Centre for Commercial Arbitration (SCCA) to promote the newly launched arbitration centre providing confidence for international investors in KSA.

Our Riyadh office has more than 15 female Saudi legal professionals. We have been running an internship for female students from the Prince Sultan University since 2011. Students must spend 7 months within a law firm in order to qualify. The cooperative training programme gives female law students experience in an international law firm and in their law qualification.

We support several charities with either pro-bono legal assistance or fundraising support, including SOS Children’s Villages , the Tasami Centre for Social Initiatives , and the Badir Program , an initiative by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology to support technology-based opportunities and entrepreneurship.

Our senior team of partners is supported by more than 35 other locally-based legal professionals.
