Good news from Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park Pool! We had 127 dedicated lap swimmers, 162 playful recreation swimmers, 78 energetic participants for water aerobics, 20 swim team members practicing, and 4 eager swimmers for swim lessons. Ann & Chuck Dever Regional Park Pool

Centennial Park Pool

Despite the chilly weather, Centennial Park Pool remains a warm and welcoming hub for the community. This past week brought strong attendance, with 81 lap swimmers, 76 recreational swimmers, and 24 water aerobics participants enjoying the inviting water. Port Charlotte High School added to the excitement with 70 swimmers training on-site, including four boys advancing to the state championships, while 107 Sea Dragon Aquatic swimmers brought dedication and high energy to their sessions. Harold Avenue Regional Park Recreation Center

Harold Avenue Regional Park had 54 for Drop- in Pickleball, 22 Basketball, 9 Table Tennis and 18 for Volleyball. Our new program Brick-it had 1 excited participant. There were 10 walking the park for Walking Fitness this week. We had a good group of patrons come in to get active, Silver Sneakers had 40, Zumba had 5 and Pilates had 10. Youth Co-ed Basketball league logged 62 volunteer hours, 369 came out for practices and 615 attended the Jamboree.

Kenneth Rodriguez, Veronica Eckroth, and Katelynn Crockett, the training offered excellent guidance and hands- on practice. Their support helped the new lifeguards build confidence and essential lifesaving skills, ensuring they’re well-prepared to keep swimmers safe.
