Congratulations on your new appointment as CEO of Richemont Group. Looking back at your role as CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, what accomplishments are you most proud of, and what lessons have you learned that inform your approach in your new CEO role today? It was exhilarating to guide Van Cleef & Arpels through a period of incredible expansion and creativity, particularly with the launch of initiatives such as L'ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts. We've upheld the legacy of excellence while growing our global presence; we've nurtured outstanding craftsmanship while supporting transmission and arts and culture in general. These experiences have taught me invaluable lessons about balancing tradition and innovation,
understanding diverse cultural landscapes, empowering talent and perpetuating the transmission of savoir-faire—principles that I carry into my new role at Richemont. As I transition into my new post, I will continue to draw on my extensive expertise at Van Cleef & Arpels to guide leadership at Richemont. How would you describe your leadership philosophy, and what core values do you strive to instill within the company culture? My leadership philosophy is based on empowering individuals, encouraging cooperation, and chasing greatness. I want to foster a culture in which everyone feels inspired to share their unique talents. The fundamental principles are creativity, craftsmanship, excellence, transmission,
teamwork, ethics, and sustainability. These principles are critical to sustaining the integrity and innovation that distinguish our organisation. With such a diverse portfolio of luxury brands within the Richemont Group, how do you approach the challenge of creating synergy among them while maintaining each brand's unique identity? Each brand in our portfolio has its own unique history and clientele. Our approach entails generating synergies that increase value without compromising our brands' distinct identities. This involves exchanging best practices, using group resources, and looking into cross- brand collaborations that respect each brand's voice and legacy.
