RENDEZ-VOUS

In your experience, how have consumer expectations for luxury products shifted over the past few years? What trends do you see shaping the future of high-end Jewelry and watches? Today's wealthier consumers are more interested in sustainability, one-of-a-kind experiences, and customisation. The continuous emphasis on craftsmanship and history, the rising demand for sustainable materials, the integration of technology, and the development of tailored and personalised creations will all influence the future of high- end Jewelry. These patterns show a closer bond between buyers and the products they purchase, which is significant to our business. What inspired you to create L'ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts? L'ÉCOLE was born from a desire to share the passion and knowledge surrounding Jewelry arts with a broader audience. We wanted to create an inclusive space where individuals could explore the history of Jewelry at large, techniques and creative processes behind Jewelry making, and the universe of gemstones, fostering a deeper appreciation for this craft. This initiative was also a way to perpetuate the commitment to education and the transmission of savoir-faire. Can you share details about the curriculum at L'ÉCOLE? How do you ensure that it encompasses both traditional techniques and modern practices in the jewelry industry? L'ÉCOLE's curriculum has been meticulously developed to provide a thorough education in the arts of jewelry. The school focuses on three main areas: Savoir-Faire, The World of Gemstones, and Art History of Jewellery. We provide a range of courses, talks, and workshops to suit any skill level. Through our seasoned jewellers, gemmologists, historians as lecturers, with the support of L’ÉCOLE’s Scientific Council overseeing the pedagogical content and methods regularly, we guarantee that our students have a comprehensive learning experience that respects both conventional methods and modern approaches.
