GPX aims to bring motorsports culture and spirit to the masses through its GPX Events. Bringing unforgettable experiences, cultural influences, and, at times, a vintage step back in time, GPX Events unites motorsport racers and enthusiasts all over the globe, bringing together iconic vehicles and characters to some of the most unique motorsports events, such as the well-known Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival and the Clio Cup Middle East championship. Excitingly adding a pure step back in time in the motorsport world, after two decades at the helm, the Masters Founder, Ron Maydon has passed the Masters Historic Racing torch over to Fred and his team at GPX. Masters Historic Racing is a UK-based series gathering the most famous grids from the past years of motor racing and bringing history back to life on track, instead of letting them disappear into a museum or warehouse, with appearances and experiences from F1, Le Mans, and the Pre-66 Touring cars.
One of the most famous events on the calendar, Masters Historic Racing has built a community of more than 4,000 members, 800 annual competitors and more than 275 events held in 17 different countries. Of the new chapter, for Fred, participation in Historic racing is more than just a sporting endeavour; it is a lifestyle, and he strives to develop a product that appeals not only to drivers but also to their families and friends, sponsors and partners, “we want to develop the focus beyond that of just the cars and their drivers, by creating an environment at the circuit that is as enjoyable for the whole family as it is for the competitors.” GPX Historic, their Historic racing team, competes and provides professional restoration, preparation, and race service for classic competition cars, running a schedule of diverse races throughout the season. New to 2025, the Masters Historic Racing will add a new category of Group C cars, i.e. Le Mans prototypes from 1982 to 1993.
