was one of the most extreme speculative events in recent history. At its crescendo in March 2000, it was premised upon the prospects of the radical changes the Internet would bring to everything – from how we do business, to how we consume, to how we live. Many of those prospects (and more) have since come to pass. But at its height, the bubble was driven by pure speculative short-term greed – like most bubbles.
